    Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into round patties, about ¾ inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb. This helps the patty cook evenly and prevents it from puffing up during grilling.

  • Cooking the Patties:
    Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook each patty for 4-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. For a juicy, medium-rare burger, aim for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C). If using a skillet, you may want to add a touch of olive oil to prevent sticking.

  • Caramelizing the Onions:
